Safety Net

There are times when having a beekeeper in the house can come in handy. Having a supply of honey is the obvious benefit, but there are other situations at play as well, for example a wasp infestation, where action can be taken from the safety of a bee suit.

A zillion yellow jackets flying about in your ceiling sound not unlike the constant crinkling of paper. Remember that and it will save you hours of head scratching. At least I could help you with that; you're on your own when it comes to the bee apparel.

Silver linings - they are everywhere in life. Hope the wasp and yellow jackets clear out - soon, if not sooner. (I won't complain so much about the ladybug infestation we had a year or so ago)

Our neighbor borrowed one of our BK jackets to attack yellow jackets nesting in a vintage Mustang he was fixing up for his wife's b-day. Yes, they do come in handy! Hope your problem is solved! As I type this, I kid you not, wasps are hitting the ceiling and at times, near-missing my head. A problem we've had for many years in this ol- farmhouse. I try not to spray too much but... A little unnerving, yes. I may follow your lead :) Hope all is well with you and yours! I've been a bad bloggy friend lately! -Tammy
