Just a glimpse of happenings around the old farmhouse today. I've been out and about making trips to the feed store, taking the male twin to his part-time job at a local stable, scrubbing chicken equipment, and trying to get the last load of laundry dry before yet more rain arrives. Meanwhile, the Artist is inside putting this year's fine crop of strawberries to good use. There will be plenty of strawberry jam to go around this year.
Here's to weekends and husbands that make jam.
So tell me, do you have a favourite type of jam?

oh, yum!
(blackberry!)
YUMMY ! Nice photo ! Thanks for sharing ! Have a good day !
I used to make strawberry jam with my grandmother, so that's my favorite. I have yet to find a jam so delicious. I'm thinking I may need to start making my own. :)
Any kind of jam is my favourite. Strawberries have taken a beating here in Nova Scotia. With all the rain and that virus that they had to plow all the fields under it's not good.
Strawberry . . . in fact, like it in jam best.
Eating Strawberries, Shortcake, chocolate covered, with ice cream, never my first choice . . .
Blueberries . . . Fresh . . . YUM! (Like them fresh frozen too!) (Have a great Blueberry Dessert recipe!) (Pick them, eat 'em fresh, throw them in a plastic bag for the freezer, enough for the winter!)
(Thank you for your nice note about Snickers . . . Dorothy and Toto . . .)
I made Sandcherry jam one year and it was awesome!
strawberry, of course!
Blackberry. Oh I wish My Hero would make jam lucky girl you are:) Hug B
How lucky you are to have a husband who will make jam! I'm partial to strawberry, but I will eat any kind of homemade jelly or jam!
PEACH!
I'm kind of quirky... I love strawberry FREEZER jam but raspberry CANNED jam!
You're lucky to have a jam maker besides yourself...
