growing

There are days when I can't see the forest for the trees and I have grave doubts about maturity levels ever rising beyond where they seem to float, currently, in this old farmhouse. Then I glance at flowers gracing my backdoor that a certain young man chose and potted and I catch a glimpse of someday and I hold on to it....tightly!

  3. I grouse about the lack of {maturity/ ambition/initiative/effort/...} on a regular and constant basis around this funny farm and then I snap some Senior pictures of my baby boy or contemplate how far away Japan is from here which is where my little girl will be jetting off to for an entire year in only 30 days and I think to myself
    ...
maybe 'the lack of ...' isn't as bad by comparison.

    Lovely shot.
