Edited with Kim Klassen's Grunge Texture
I was reminded of the saying "cold hands...warm heart" that my grandmother used to always say to me whenever she would hold my cold hands. Mother's Day this year was a lot like that old saying....cold, rain, hail and wind on the outside...in fact, our hydro was off for a good part of the afternoon and evening, but inside the old farmhouse, with family, and particularly the one who made me a mom and the one who taught me what it means to give as a mom, it was all warm hearts. I'm hoping no matter how you spent Mother's Day, even if it was through memories, your heart was warmed too.
