Today was sunny but I think we're all past the point where we fall for that old trick. I knew it still had to be bitter cold out there but the Artist, Callie and I decided to head out to the back woods for a walk because one can only stay cooped up for so long. And what do you know, it wasn't so bad. It certainly wasn't the 28C we had on Thursday but it was still warm, with little wind and lots and lots of sunshine. Majestic, glorious sunshine and I was a part of it.
My friends, it was spring and I soaked it up like a sponge and my heart and soul are all the better for it. Hoping you had sunshine in your weekend too.

Oh Andrea we are getting sun but the warmth hides from us behind the cold winds. I am not sure when it will warm up I cannot believe I still have to hike with long underwear on:)The grass is wanting warmth too.

We are waiting here too for some real warmth. I know this cool spring is good for the plant growth, so I will be patient. :)
Ditto here with cool temps and snowy days. This weekend though cheered me completely. SUNSHINE . . . and the serious beginnings of "cleaning up.". Hours of more before we sleep . . . as it has been said but what a treat to believe warmer days are ahead.
