Saturday Snap

Pippy Shortbottom and Eli

There isn't anyone about Rural Revival Farm that isn't excited about the sunny morning upon us and the promise of a warm-ish weekend that appears to be shaping up. We're still boiling sap....no doubt our final days, as the long range forecast is calling for above freezing nights, but after a very long winter and a good haul of syrup, we're ready to welcome spring with open arms or wings, whatever the case may be.

~Happy Saturday Friends!

I cannot imagine how much work is going into your syrup production.

This is a great great capture! My rooster is one of my best muses because of the color and animation.

Our sap is done and the taps are all pulled ready to be cleaned for next season. There was some sap in the buckets when we pulled taps, but it looked pretty bad. All in all it was a good season despite being late and shorter than last year.
