We were up before the chickens this morning, finding our way in the dark, as we drove two hours north to a large fur and feather animal sale/swap. We had heard this was a good sale, but I have to admit I was surprised by the selection of animals available and the size of the crowds. From emus to a camel, there was almost any animal, of any size to help fill a void for someone suffering from the condition of barnheart.
After our purchases were made the Artist and the Glimmer Twins waited in the car while I meandered a bit to take a few more photos. One should never, ever, let me alone with a bunch of farm animals....for sale.
It's a wonder I didn't come home with this.
I didn't because I know that would have put me in over my head. For now.
But here's a quick video of what I'll be dreaming of, you know....to keep that barnheart disease satisfied, if for just a little while.

i'd have had to get some of those ducks and chickens, just because they look so pitiful in those cages.
I would have come home with a goat, for sure. SO cute. Hoping to at least have some chickens someday. :)
Hi Andrea you have stirred my imagination what did you purchase?
I loved to see the camel. I cannot believe someone owned a camel WOW. Oh I have at one time or another owned every thing here except the camel yup back to the camel very curious I am sure the Glimmer twins would love that.... If you bought the camel I will be visiting soon for sure:) Hug B
How did you not head home with at least a goat, so cute!
What an absolutely fun way to spend the day! Love it.
