overdue

My library books.
I'm always forgetting to check their due date.

But that's not what I'm talking about.
Way back in November...wait was there a November? Oh yes, there was and the sun shone more
often than not which meant outdoor chores were still being completed and I had little time for
sitting at the computer. While I was busy out and about two sweet and dear ladies called me
out and this itty bitty blog along with me and I would like to take the time today to thank them.

Lynne, of Irish Garden House, a kindred spirit in so many ways.
I feel like I've known her my entire life and Anna of The Other Side of Anna
who appreciates the beauty in nature and understands the best things in life aren't things at all.
Thank you Anna and Lynne for your appreciation.

As part of one award I am to tell you seven things about myself.
I've done this a few times; I find it difficult to believe you don't know everything about me.
Really...there isn't that much.
I've decided to change things up a little because I like to do that.
(There's one thing!)
I'll answer the first seven questions left in the comments of this post.
Am I crazy? Mildly.
Will there even be seven questions?
I guess if there isn't,
I'm off the hook!

Both awards are to be passed on to other bloggers.
There are far too many blogs I love to read and far too few
minutes of the day for me to steal away and read them.
And I should hate to leave a single one out.

It takes an incredible amount of time, creativity, inspiration and hard work to keep a blog running. Every blogger deserves an award.

What I would like to do is share a few blogs that have ramped up my farming mojo lately.

Through their words and photos, in ways that are obvious or not,
they inspire me to keep this micro-farm on track.

And for that I am grateful.

~Be well friends~

Congratulations and boy congratulations to me on getting to ask a question. Darn I have to think about that one.
I love the way you changed the rules you rebel you.
I am looking forward to checking out your farm blogs being a farm girl myself that always interests me.
OK my question If you could only grab one thing out of your house while leaving in a hurry for unknown reasons and your family and pets are all out and safe what would it be?
I ask this because someone asked me this the other day and I had to think very hard. Myself I said my photo album of family pictures of my Dad and Grandparents and my kids when they were little.
Just say the first thing that pops in your head. That would be the one.
Congrats again Andrea. B

How exciting to change up the rules! I like to be different too.

So, my question to you is this:
What was one of the silliest things you did in your teen years that no one else would believe that you did?

My kids used to ask me that a lot...then say "no you didn't!" afterwards. How do they think I've figured them out all these years? :-)

Well hello there kindred sprit . . . how nice to be mentioned. I LOVE surprises . . . Which brings me to my question . . . Have you ever truly been surprised, and if so, what was the surprise . . .

I like your changing it up a bit . . .
Love, Lynne

Ha, freshly back to being active once again in Blogland, I'm already have lots of fun! It would appear that I'm able to pose a question. Hmmmm, let me think. Okay, I'm always into a good love story so how did you and the Artist meet? Maybe it can be found back in your archives and maybe I've even read it but the story eludes me now so that'll be my question. ;-)

Aha! Saw your url on my stats. Thanks for the love, I'm honored to be on that list!

So do I get to ask a question too?

What is one thing people would be surprised to learn about you. Something that would make them stop and say, "Really!!!?"

Mine? Oh so glad you asked. One of my babies was born in the car. For real. And it was awesome.
