Sometimes, with a little knowledge and a dash of planning, the paths you choose in life
can bring you along avenues filled with experiences you never dare dream.
And if you're lucky, it can take you along roads filled with patient old barns
that thought you'd never come visit. This barn particularly, with it's three tin soldiers
standing on guard, could be heard letting out a huge sigh of relief as I pulled over
and there was the slightest murmur heard coming from amongst the three of them
while one of them said, "I told you she'd get here".
For the month of December, I'll be featuring barns along highway 59.
A small tribute to my grandparents who likely traveled along
this two lane highway more than any other in the world.
~Be well friends~

Lovely. You have a plethora of old barns there.
Like your three tin soldiers!
This is just beautiful :) :) I love taking pictures of farms, too, when I can. There are some beautiful out farms in the Carmel valley :) :) Have a great week. Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)
Beautiful photo and I love how you processed it! There's just something so romantic about old farms, isn't there? :D

Well, of all the Barn Charm entries this week so far (30) I have to give yours the Best of Show award. Great composition, nicely done.
I had to look up Hwy 59. I'm not as familiar with that area (thought the town names all sound so very familiar!) So, I look forward to taking this tour with you.
