For the month of December, I am sharing the charm of barns along Highway 59.

As I drove by this next barn, I sighed how lovely it was and kept on going.
Then after a two or three minutes I gave my head a shake and turned around.
The three amigos to the right gave me a stare down which admit it, could make anyone
a little nervous, but perhaps it was just a little protectionism kicking in.

I wondered, if this was a trait passed on from inhabitant to inhabitant of this treasured barn and,
if so, just how many generations of 'barn families' have come and gone since my grandparents
first traveled this road around sixty-five years ago?

Beautiful barn & I can see why you would turn around just to capture it. I certainly would!
Did I say this before? I love this barn, especially the field stone on the bottom/lower. I can just see all the neighbors there to help lay the stone and lift the beams, build the walls.

Do you know if your Grandparents might have know any of the inhabitants? The barn looks like it has a long history.

Definitely a treasured barn & I imagine they're used to the 'paparazzi' bulbs flashing away at them & their beloved barn! LoL!
