A quick tour of the rural roost here at Rural Revival farm on a Sunday morning. I need some work on my videographer skills but I hope you enjoy nonetheless.
It's always fun to drop by and visit...great to see the girls and Eli! I love how the coop is tucked into an area with trees...great planning ahead. I wish we'd had a similar area with evergreens...it's perfect! Our girls began to lay at 16 weeks, so let us know...we'll all be anxious to share the excitement of your first egg! (and oh, do those eggs add up quickly...they're on the menu for dinner tonight!) -Mary
What fun to see Eli and the girls and hear their "peeps/clucks and the best part for me . . . was to hear your voice Andrea. Thank you for sharing . . . Happy Monday to you!
Good Morning Andrea! I saw this post yesterday but couldn't sit long enough to watch the video. This morning I am able to sit for a bit longer so have thoroughly enjoyed watching your chickens and viewing your hen house and getting a good look at your sweet Callie(sp?). Most especially I enjoyed hearing your voice...it's wonderful to hear the Canadian accent again! My sister who was born and raised in Selkirk Manitoba has a 'Red River' accent which is what I had for years. I lost most of it while living in BC for over 30 years but now my family tells me I'm sounding more 'American' :) You don't sound like you're from Ontario to me but definitely Canadian. Love it. Enjoy your chickens and have a wonderful day! Maura :)
I love this!!! I know nothing about chickens so it is so very interesting to me! And Callie! What a love. Good girl for being the protector of things great and small! LYLAS! xo, misha

great video, thanks for posting! I feel as if I was right there with them :).
So sweet! Make sure we know when they start laying.
Enjoyed your video! I love how sweetly you talk to your chickens! And the feathers on the rooster are gorgeous!
