It's been a while since I stopped to admire an old barn.
Don't fret, I admire them constantly, I just haven't stopped dead in my tracks for one recently.
That was until I stumbled across this one, as I headed out for bee supplies.
Rough around the edges,
bulging at the seams,
with a dash of mystery thrown in,
and then this sweet little number on top of it all.
There's something about a cart and a barn together that makes my heart go pitter patter.
So if you read in the papers of a lady, arrested for stealing an old wooden cart,
by hand, you'll know who it is.

I love an old barn as well...wish they could talk and tell their stories of the past. I just missed a bargain of a deal on an old hay wagon by letting too much time go by. Just like my old sink...try contacting the owner of the farm and see if the wagon's for sale...you might be surprised! -Mary
As always, wonderful photography and manipulation of same.
Great moods.
Love this old stuff... not enough of them around here...
I so would have stopped for this one also. It is beautiful the wagon pulls it all together. Great one Andrea. B
It's sad to see such a beauty going to waste.
I would do everything in my power to try and get that old wagon home!
Beautiful! I would totally have to steal that cart!

Love the cart too... but I know my husband would be eyeballing that old silo. He really, really wants one to add to his barn.

Your photos are gorgeous!
Oh how I love old barns...wish I could convert one and live in it...or at least take one home.
I will be listening to the news LOL.
Now that is a picture I'd love to see-you pulling a cart down a country road!
When we were in the Yukon there was a man that had started in S. America and was going all the way to Alaska pulling a small cart behind him with just the most basic of needs. I'd of loved to see how he got through the area where the buffalo are all along the road!
Love what you've done with this barn! Fine photography and a wonderful subject.
Great site to take photos! Lots to see and photograph. Good eyes...and I like the way you processed the first photo.
