Summer Starter

We headed over to our closest town for breakfast yesterday.
The Artist has frequented this cafe and was sure I would like it.
 And he was right!
It's situated in the main floor of an old mill,
and is full of antiques.
They roast their own coffee and real apple fritters are their specialty.
It was the perfect way to start off part one of my summer vacation,
and a chance to get out of the unbearable heat of late.
And the food was scrumptious; I highly recommend the quiche.
But most of all, it was a chance to recapture
what's been missing from the old farmhouse for several weeks.
Freshly returned from Europe,
jet lagged,
but home nonetheless.

~Be well friends~
