Long Weekends

Long weekends are for:
picking strawberries,
watching fireworks,
good books,
napping in the hammock,
hanging out with family
and
long, lazy mornings
with too much java.

So please excuse us while we take an extended coffee break.

~Be well friends!~

  2. Hope your Canada Day was a great one Andrea!

You have the same plans as me... well except for the fireworks... we haven't been to see fireworks in years!

And for strawberries, I'm making jam tomorrow!

  10. Sounds like a perfect weekend. So far I went blueberry picking at 7:00 this morning, had 2 cups of coffee, we did some fireworks last night and I got some reading time in. Tomorrow we'll be hanging out with family and friends (I'm hoping it'll be a lazy morning first, though) - the only thing missing is the nap in the hammock. Maybe I can nap on the lounger instead? Have a fun time this weekend.

  13. Hi Andrea,

Oh, my I love java and there's never too much. My dad and I just bought some Häagen Daz Java Chip ice cream. It tastes like it has a literal shot of espresso in it...plus it melts so nice on the tongue, too :) :)

Oh my word, that kitty cat is so SWEET :) :) Tell me more about sweet kitty :) :)

Have a Happy 4th of July weekend. Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

  16. I recently discovered My French Corner, which in turn, led me to you. We are doing a similar transition from city to country, but we are doing it down in the Texas Hill Country. Love your photography, and judging by what you listed on your profile, we have similar tastes in music. In fact, the little town we now live in (Wimberley) is the same one where Sarah Jarosz grew up!
