I was playing around with some new textures last night that I picked up from Shadowhouse Creations. If you're into textures, you'll enjoy the creative offerings there. I also had horses on the brain last night. This lovely, I met when I stopped to photograph a charming barn over the weekend. She was obviously the head of the herd; she came right over to meet me while her two friends continued on with their afternoon snack.
I tried two different textures on this photo. One that seemed obvious to use and one that didn't. It was a good learning process but it also kept me busy while I waited to hear about another horse, Miss Annie or as I like to call her Senorita Andalucia.
It seems she was running a pretty high fever yesterday and was not her usual rambunctious self. Miss Annie likes to break paddock boards for fun. She wasn't quite up to that yesterday and I for one am beside myself with worry over this little girl.

Final update last evening was that she was resting comfortably, her temps were a little lower and the vet is hoping for some test results this afternoon. So please, if you could, please keep Miss Annie in your thoughts today. And if you want to stop by and pay her a visit yourself, you can leave a message with her human mom, Misha, to let Miss Annie know you're thinking of her and wishing her a speedy recovery.
Consiga bien pronto, Senorita Andalucia!
~Thank you friends and be well~
