Barn Charm #6

Hello friends. Isn't it nice to have blogger back? I don't think we'll take it for granted again, at least not for the rest of the month, wouldn't you say? For the moment, I'm recovering from more than a blogger outage, but a weekend long workshop. I've been studying up on beekeeping and pest management. It's quite possible my brain has turned to honey thinking about varroa mites but I could think of worse things to have inside my head - honey that is not mites! And considering it rained continually all weekend, as in the whole enchilada it was a good time to be inside except for when we weren't. But it was still fun to be out and about in the bee yard, even if the bees suffered from a bad case of cabin fever.

As I sloshed through the puddles along the back roads, traveling back and forth from the old farmhouse, I passed that shy beauty pictured above, the one peeking around the corner, and knew I had to capture her charm along with that of her sweet little sidekick. Nothing says charm to me than a few stars and the odd missing window pane. 

 And maybe a beehive out in the yard.
