I used to pass by this barn frequently and as we drove by over the weekend, I made a mental note to stop on our return trip for a quick capture. I can still see the beauty in this old structure, but in my mind, it is sitting on a teeter-totter, precariously dangling on the edge of obscurity but there is still a sparkle in its eye, a glimmer of hope, surrounded by a moat of lush green promise, just waiting for someone to come along with a heart full of barn love.

Very pretty picture. Your words about the barn were so beautiful. Like poetry!

Wow, amazing barn! Love the soft blue sky and green grass against the texture of the barn.
that's gorgeous, andrea!
What a handsome barn complex! The stone foundation with the windows is wonderful- I really like its weathered patina.

Barn Charm
A barn full of possibilities!
This is beautiful! I'm visiting from Barn Charm!
Natural, weathered wood! Beautiful, particularly with that stone foundation, too.
Can't you just hear the hustle and bustle of the barn and livestock from long ago?
Even though it sits empty, it seems happy!

I so love the foundations of these....they have and are still real beauties. Don't you wonder what their history has been?

These look old but they're still standing strong. Love the foundation they have.
Now, that beauty looks pretty dog-gone old & the foundation is awesome! Looks like several lifetimes of memories stored up inside... I'd sooo love to get my hands on this old barn... think of all the treasures to be found inside... not that I'd take anything, but just to see what could be uncovered & what hasn't been seen in ages! What a great find!!!
It's wonderful to see the greening of the grass in the foreground of that mature barn.
I wonder how old the barn is and how it's been used.....if only barn could talk and tell their stories!
What a great old barn! I love the green grass against that weathered wood.
Here's hoping that someone does come along that has a heart full of barn love. This is one that deserves to be saved.
That is one fabulous barn. I'd love to have that on my property!
I was too late to link to my photo, but it can be seen at my blog.

What a great photo of a lovely old weathered barn. Unfortunately it does appear might a great gust of wind come the old building would fold like a deck of cards.
