Evening Stroll

The Artist and I went out for a long walk tonight. And by long, I mean to say, long. My legs and feet are feeling worse for wear, and I'm a little tired but that has probably more to do with the fact that it was 5:15am when I hit the snooze button for the first time this morning. And please, for the love of Pete,  don't ask how many times I hit that extra large, convenient snooze bar because I might have to lie. You see sometimes I can't for the life of me, remember hitting it. Some days I'm not sure if I should love or hate the creator of the snooze button. And since I'm far too tired to say much anything else, I'll leave you with this scene from our travels.

Happy hump day friends, the work week is just about done.

How's your week going?

~Be well friends!~

  4. bless your hard-working heart... i remember those days (and don't look forward to returning to them either!) right now the 5 dogs are my alarm clock and they don't allow much of a 'snooze' button!

  5. I've heard you all are finally getting some spring weather up there! And I know what you mean about being tired in the evenings... I get up at 4:40 everyday, go to work early, get off early... someone once asked me if I was a "morning person"... I said "nope, I'm an afternoon person and I don't like to spend it at work so I get here early!" :)

  6. When I was working, I had to wake at 4:00 AM every morning in order to make it to work by 6:00 AM in the city. I still find myself awaking right around 4:00 AM, even though I could sleep longer.

Old habit I cannot seem to break.

  7. Love the photo. Your landscape looks about the same as ours, although things are starting to green up!

I get up at 5am every morning, no matter what. It's not a choice, it just is.

  9. It's so much easier to get up when the sun's coming up earlier...it's the winter that's tough for me. Oh, getting out of flannel sheets on a frosty morning is awful! Enjoy the spring in your area...our world is slowly waking up. However; those early mornings, while hard to get in to, can be lovely once you're up and moving! -Mary

  10. I was blog hopping and found your blog. And so glad that I did! I've really enjoyed reading about your farm life..making syrup, etc. My hubby's family lives in St Catherines. We haven't been up to visit in so long. It's so beautiful there.
I'll be back to read more. You have a new follower!

  14. Hi Andrea, don't you just love walks in the country. I feel for you though...sounds like it was a very long one. I'm happy to say I don't need an alarm clock to wake me up in the mornings...I have an internal clock that wakes me up pretty much at the same time every morning PLUS..I guess you could say I'm retired ;)
I hope your feet are feeling better now and you'll be ready for another good walk this weekend if your weather is good. Enjoy!
    Maura :)
