While searching tonight through photos for the next Rural Roams segment,
I stumbled across this photo. I've always loved this pic, taken the day after the Artist and I
were married. I'm kind of glad I saved it until I started to get the hang of using textures
because I think this freebie texture from Kim Klassen Cafe called Mad Love is madly divine.
Sign up to Kim's texture lovin' list and she will email you a freebie texture each Friday.
And what's not to like about that?
And after all of your comments from yesterday's post,
I thought this was the perfect pick me up for all of you longing for spring just as much as I am.
It's been a long winter baby,
so consider this a little gift of sunflower sunshine from me to you.

Every friend is to the other a sun, and a sunflower also. He attracts and follows.
~Thanks for being my sunflowers~

Well Thank You!
It brightened my day...as I sit here and watch snow fly by my window....:(
That could be a photo hanging on a wall!
Now this picture would look fabulous framed and hanging in my laundry room/back porch!
Don't sunflowers just make you smile :)

Beautiful and vintagy. :)
Love the texture on that- needs to be framed.
Ah sunflowers...they're making all of us cheerier, thanks! I'd really love to try textures, this is so pretty...just how hard is Photoshop to get the hang of?! -Mary
That did brighten my day, thanks for sharing that lovely image!
They are so pretty!! Thank you!! And I love the effect you put on the photo :).
As one reader already said, that would make a lovely photographic print.
Love the photo and the quote!
Great photo! I could see it on the cover of a Home & Garden magazine!
They are so pretty. I'm going to plant them for the first time ever in my garden this year! I LOVE that vintage looking box, and the printed wellies in the background!
