I'm linking to Soulemama for a Friday ritual. A single photo - no words - capturing a moment from the week. A simple, special, extraordinary moment. A moment I want to pause, savour and remember.
I am contemplating moving back home to Wisconsin after seeing this! we are in Western Oregon, very green, no snow. I think it is time to get some chains for our tires so I can drive my kids up to the snow in the mountains. What is winter without snow? Here is our moment in a different climate:http://humbleluna.blogspot.com/2011/01/this-moment_28.html
Hey Andrea- thank you so much for visiting my blog via Misha and leaving a comment will give you one chance in my giveaway! I am so glad you left a message so I could find your blog, that is one of the best things with comments! Took my first ski trip yesterday (where I didn't fall at all)...I've only had 3 ski trips since I moved to Norway (16 years ago) so I'm still new, but I loved it yesterday...it was totally flat, so the only thing I had to concentrate on was staying upright!! hahaha! It is a special feeling when you can just slide across the snow and enjoy the moment! Peeked at the rest of your blog also, I need to head to work so I'll be back to read more, but I was in Niagra Falls as a child- though never in the winter- it was beautiful in the summer and it's magical in the winter! Take care and thanks again for visiting, hope you'll come back!! Hugs from Amy in Norway :-)

Yay more cross country skiing! That is definitely the way to enjoy the season :). Have a great weekend Andrea!
This looks like fun, if I like the snow that is! I do love that Callie is out in front, leading the pack...
