Faster than you can bat your eyes, our holidays are over.
I'm trying to stay positive about this drastic turn of events.
Even though I'm back to the commute to the city, it's a new year, a new school for the male twin and the beginning of a new chapter in the twin's lives.
And somehow the silliness is still here; luckily, it never takes a holiday.Of course, not everyone was happy to see her charges leave this morning.
So to perk this puppy up, let's announce the winner of the giveaway!

If you'll remember, someone had the chance to win Chances.
That someone is Anke from Our Little Piece of Heaven.
Anke is a gardener after my own heart, and she makes such beautiful cards, which you can see here and she inspired me to make a new soap dispenser for the farmhouse kitchen. So if you're not familiar with her piece of heaven, be sure to stop by and introduce yourself.

This girl and I were very touched.
~To new beginnings friends...be well!~

Hello Andrea!
I tried to send you an email this evening but it won't go through and there was no explanation as to why it failed. I'll try again in the morning. I used the email address in your profile. Happy Anniversary to you and your husband and a belated Happy Birthday to THE TWINS! Have a wonderful Wednesday.
Maura :)
Hi Andrea: Congratulations to your giveaway winner and good luck to all who have to head back to school and head back to work.

Oh my gosh... Thank you so much! I can't believe I won your giveaway and you had such nice things to say about me. Your kids and your pup are beautiful! I'm sure the little guy will miss having everybody home.
Andrea welcome back! Have I mentioned that I love your pictures?!!!
I'm sorry I'm late wishing you a Happy Anniversary and a Happy Birthday to the twin. New school, new commute. Lots going on for you. Hope it is all wonderful. I've been catching up on your blog and wow, are your pictures gorgeous.
Oh that pup does look so sad! Poor thing. :)
Starting school? I thought they were coming to Tn! "Misha's School of Barn Work" is just gearing up and I only have one student now; Annie!
And Little Miss Annie was sooo looking forward to having the Twins! On Monday we had a 12 year old adorable girl spend the day at the farm.
And Annie was mesmerized by this 'little person"!
Congrats to the winner! I am on my way to visit her and meet a new blogger!
Thanks for such a wonderful post, Andrea! Oh, and pup needs a pup friend! Just sayin :)
xo, misha
These photos are soooo cute Andrea! The last one is my favorite. Your children have smiles that could warm up a whole winter!
I went to check out the soap dispenser and got soooo excited. I'm totally making one for every sink in the house! It speaks to my love of jam making. hee hee!
I have one of the soap dispenser but I'm sad to say I bought it at one of those high end home party that my sister had..never again! Homemade from now on! I bet the pup is happy when the school day is over...I wonder what they must think? as in How could they do this to me?..
Dang, those twins are cute! Poor little pup she needs a buddy to hang with! Congratulations to your winner!
Congrats to your winner!!
I hope the twins have a great school year!
