Vintage Luggage Love
I found these two vintage suitcases on separate occassions but they go together quite nicely, don't you think?
I'm pretty much in love with them, and their price. Seems I'm not the only one. I've been finding such great bargains I can't bear to take the price tag off, lest I forget what I paid for my thrifting finds. The Artist is getting a little tired of them though; can't say as I blame him.
I'll be storing all of our cd's in these, hopefully they'll fit. I've suddenly reached the age where displaying my musical tastes holds little appeal to my decorating style. Right now they're stacked on the floor in our family room and that appeals to my decorating style even less.

I'm considering do a linky for Thursday thrift finds; whether they're vintage, new, something you found yesterday or twenty years ago; I would be interested to see the treasures you've found. Please let me know if you're interested and I'll set it up for an upcoming Thursday, with notice.

Rain! Not so good when you are out in it.
hi dear!
I am now back in Poland after being away almost two months and just stopping by to catch up. Looks like you have been busy! Love your vintage finds. I am headed to the flea market soon to make our new shop in Krakow look swoony! haha!I will let you know what I find...
Love ya!

Love the suitcases as does the cat it would seem. A place to sit and survey the kitty cat domain.
I would love to do the the vintage thing link..if I can figure it out! lol....I have been finding some awesome things at yard sales lately for awesome prices...heading out to two this morning...
I love your kitty on your super suitcases. If I can figure out the linky thing, I might give it a whirl.
Good morning Andrea! I love old suitcases..they wonderful for storage. What a great idea...I'll be watching for your post and Mr Linky thing for Thrifty Farmhouse Thursday! Have a wonderful weekend....Maura :)
I am new to your blog... as of today. I love VINTAGE and ANTIQUES... I am a thrift store junky and I think this Linky would be a great way to show case our goodies each week in a tasteful manner... count me in and I will looking forward to seeing everyone's treasures...
Oooh! If I can figure out how to do the linky thing, I would participate :)
I love old suitcases. I have the ones my Papa used when he was in the Army. I store books and old photo albums in them. And our cats lounge them, too! We have more and more in common each day!
And....I LOVE to leave the price tags on thrifty finds! I have drawers full of old vintage linens with those little sticky tags on each of them..25 cents, 50 cents...I will show anyone who is willing to indulge me! My kitties are such a good audience!!
xo, misha
Great picture! Very nice suitcases!
Great finds, Andrea. Your floors in the photo are making me swoon, however. Gorgeous. I would love to participate.
Gee, I've yet to try a linky party but you inspire me with your fun finds. I feel better knowing that I'm not the only one to leave prices on for quite a while... I only make sure to pull 'em off before my kids go out to a special party in their (cheap) thrifted designer clothes! ;-0 The "treasures" in my house can keep their tags! I have old suitcases above my kitchen cabinets that hold seasonal kitchen decor. My 3 yo is very confused, my hubby thinks I'm nuts, but I love 'em! I'll be back for more inspiration soon!
hugs,
Leslie
Hi Andrea!
Your vintage luggage finds are great. I'm glad I'm not the only one who leaves the pricetags on my flea market finds - LOL! The Thursday vintage finds linky sounds fun.

The suitcases are great and I think it's a wonderful idea to store your cd's in them. I love the kitty even more. :o)
Great suitcases! I'd love to find a few of those.
The same thing happened to me with regards to CDs. I used to display all of our CDs in a big rack when we were young. Then, they got moved to a small bookcase in the hall. Now, they're in a cardboard box in our bedroom closet! I usually have a small stack that I am currently listening to in the kitchen, and the rest are out of sight. No need to clutter up the view, my house is messy enough as it is with toys strewn about. :)
Thursday vintage finds link party sounds like loads of fun! And a good reason to go thrifting (like I need an excuse! lol). I love your vintage suitcases, and of course, the sweet kitty ♥
