It's Christmas, Christmas everywhere, especially in blogland. From decorating ideas, favourite ornaments, baking, or Christmas home tours, everyone has a little something of their Christmas they'd like to share. So, in keeping with the spirit and the comradery of the season, I'd like to share with you the signs of Christmas around the old farmhouse.
The baking pantry is in complete disarray. This could lead to a meltdown at any moment. I'm fussy when it comes to my baking stuff.
For the second night in a row, it has been announced during dinner that my famous (well, it's an around the farmhouse kind of famous) banana chocolate chip muffins have been offered as prime fare for a class party the next day. I'll have to share my recipe with you sometime, it has a secret ingredient. That's where the famous part comes in to play.
As I crashed and burned around the mall on my lunch break, it hit me that I still had two boxes of decorations in the basement yet to see the light of day this year. I have no idea where to put them. I thought I had all of that figured out for another year. I knew it was too good to be true.
The cupboard in my closet has suffered from serious invasion by Santa's elves.
Yup, it's sure looking like Christmas around the old farmhouse.
Be well friends!

Hi Andrea! Thanks so much for your kind comment. So glad to hear you liked Coop! I had to renew it from the library to finish it! Wishing you a most wonderful Christmas!!
Andrea, my closets & "etc" look way worse than yours. Trust me :) I'm having a tough time with Christmas this year. Don't know why. Hope Santa isn't watching ;-) Also, I tried to comment on your 100th post but my 'puter wouldn't cooperate. Congratulations, dear blogging friend... and that is such a cool picture! Ahhh, takes me back to the happy barefoot days of Summer! I miss them already. -Tammy
I can't wait for the recipe for the famous muffins. They sound wonderful. Yes, it does look a lot like Christmas at your house and that's fantastic.
